Raghu Tata Movie Review
With Raghu Tata, author Suman Kumar kills two birds with one stone. His debut directorial work works both as an understated drama and as a film with a message. The action is set in the late 1960s, when protests against the introduction of Hindi as the official language of the state forced the Union government to take a step back. It also marks a time when young women, influenced by the progressive ideals of leaders like Periyar, began to open their minds to the idea of self-employment.
