Vivek is 17 years old and it’s time to start tutoring classes for the entrance exams to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), notoriously tough as any middle-class Indian family can attest. Vivek’s father considers an IIT degree a certificate of morality and sends his only son to a boarding school in Kota,
the mecca of IIT tutoring. For two years, Vivek experiences all the stages of Indian adolescence, but it is his parents who ensure his success. Over time, Vivek’s father learns that there are people with poor ethics at IITs and on the eve of the IIT entrance exams, he cryptically tells Vivek that IIT is not the end goal in life.

The Movie is too sedate and serious. But a good attempt at his first directorial venture by Varun grover. The film would have been more relevant in 2012 than in 2024.
Some good slapstick comedy track of VG’s brand would have been helpful. Ending too, is inconclusive leaving audience to draw their own.
