Saloni Bagga is a chef who dreams of her restaurant winning a Meraki star. She meets Akhil Chadha and the two hit it off immediately and soon get married. However, problems soon arise in their marriage, one of which causes her restaurant to lose its Meraki star, which results in Saloni losing her job.
Due to these problems, the couple decides to divorce. Saloni then moves to Mussoorie and works in a restaurant owned by Gurbir Singh Pannu. After a series of events, a drunk Saloni has a one-night stand with Gurbir. That night, Akhil shows up in her room to try and win her back, and they also have a one-night stand.
