A hairdresser seeks revenge after his house is robbed. He cryptically tells the police that his “Lakshmi” has been stolen and he doesn’t know if it is a person or an object. A journey begins to find the elusive “Lakshmi”.
The film was officially announced in February 2023 with the working title VJS50, as it will be Sethupathi’s 50th film. Principal photography began the same month and took place primarily in Chennai within a single schedule. The official title was announced in July, upon completion of filming and the arrival of Think Studios as co-producers. The film’s music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography is by Dinesh Purushothaman and editing is by Philomin Raj.
