Transformers One will return to the series’ roots and focus on the epic civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons on Cybertron. The film will tell the story of how Optimus Prime and Megatron went from being friends to enemies. Longtime series producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has already hinted that we’ll see Cybertron in a whole new light. It will also include Sentinel Prime and one of the oldest Autobots of all time, Alpha Trion, who are said to play key roles in the plot.
